Kishen Das has approached us ( ButterflyCircle Singapore ) for the use of our
Visual ID template on look-alike species , the plates are visual
interpretation of ID keys from the " Butterflies of the Malay Peninsula "
Edition 4 1992 updated 2006 .

We thought it will be better to use locally shot pictures in India itself,
so as to be sure that we are not using Malaya/Singapore subspecies as a basis
for the plate .

Kishen had sent me the first batch of the browns which comprised mainly the two
look-alikes of M. perseus and M. mineus, and here is my attempt ,
hope you find it useful .
