Butterfly Park in Bali Island of Indonesia

Info: Pupa hanging with the help of clips in open cages waiting for butterflies to emerge.
This is done 3 times a week with pupae brought from outside the conservatory.
The emerged butterflies and moths remain live in out door cages for display for some days before they die.
The dead specimens in good condition are pinned and dried and then kept in frames for sale at the entrance lobby and exhitbit halloway.
None of the threatened species are reared and made into momentoes- transparent key rings, book marks, frames, etc.
The momentoes are sold with a certificate of this so that it can be transported easliy to other countries after sale.
This give income to the park and the people running it.
